"Nine out of ten children between 8 and 16 years of age have viewed pornography on the internet. In most cases, the sites were accessed unintentionally when a child used a seemingly innocent sounding word to search for information or pictures."  (London School of Economics, 2002)

Our site familysafeinternetsecurity.com will continue to expand through the month of November with many changes and additions.

We will be adding more product links for great internet filtering and usage tracking software. The current image links found below enable you to easily find, purchase and download our featured products. (Some of the products can even be downloaded as free trial versions.) This method of obtaining the software will provide you with the benefit of immediate protection and the assurance that you are being protected.  Once downloaded and installed these products will allow you to regulate and observe the internet activities of anyone using your computers. If you prefer to do this in a "stealth" manner, many of the products can even work invisibly in the background and can not be inactivated except by you.

In addition, we will soon include access to a variety of independent reviews for many of the filtering and usage tracking internet software products we feature. This will provide you with even more information to help you make informed choices about the products that you select.

We have just added the first of a number of RSS data feeds to be incorporated into our site. This is in the form of a news feed from Net Family News and features frequently updated information that should be of special interest to our visitors. Other feeds will be added (including podcasts) to provide even broader coverage of current news related to the topic of family internet security.

Most importantly, we are still in the process of adding more links to the very best internet safety resource sites. These great websites are all focused on the same mission: providing you with the information needed to understand the risks we face online so that you can proactively protect your family. These informative sites provide a clear, realistic look at the ever changing threats that exist on the internet such as: pornography, cyberstalking, identity theft, cyberbullying, etc. They also provide you with measures that can be taken to keep you family as safe as possible in light of these threats.

For more information about the general topic of internet security, visit our parent site digitalguardiangroup.com where you can find out about other websites in our internet security-focused family of sites.
